For the Love of Scrubs

The Printing House are delighted to be involved in the 'For the Love of Scrubs' initiative to help local Leighton Hospital. Scrubs, the plain clothes worn by medics when dealing with patients, are being used by an increasing number of NHS staff as part of their personal protective equipment and changed more frequently in order to stop the spread of Covid-19. It’s been well-publicised that supplies are short so volunteer sewers around the country have come together to make up the shortfall.

Over one thousand volunteers across the UK, are giving up their time to sew, wash fabric, cut and distribute additional scrubs but these volunteers need a sewing pattern and that's where we, as a printing company, can help. We were originally approached by an ex-employee who was part of a Crewe sewing group, they were struggling to find printers able to print patterns on a large A0 format. Luckily our large format printer was perfect for the job and we've just had our sample accepted and are looking forward to helping out this excellent cause. Find out more on Love of Scrubs Facebook.
