Every couple wants to have their dream wedding no matter what size the event is. We think this is always achievable, whether your budget is small or big – you may just need to get creative. Print is a huge part of your wedding day, from table plans to invitations and place cards to the order of service. It’s also a great opportunity to put a spin on your wedding and make it different to everyone else’s. Thinking outside the box isn’t always easy – to get you started we’ve come up with four great printing ideas for your special day.
The perfect way to remember everyone who was at your wedding and have a beautiful memory of the day to hang somewhere in your house. We think fingerprint trees are the new ‘Wedding Guest book’. You will simply need a graphic of a tree with bare branches printed onto a large piece of card, we recommend A1 or A2 size. Then you hang/place this in front of the entrance to your wedding breakfast or ceremony alongside some ink pads and pens. Your guests stamp their finger onto the tree and write their name!
Don’t forget to provide wet wipes for people to clean up with!
Make each individual person at your wedding feel special with personalised place cards. You can go as simple as just having people’s names on the place cards or go really personalised with a different message for each card which is tailored to that person (see the example below). Whether you go simple or detailed with your personalisation it will make your guests feel special and they will most likely keep and scrapbook the card as a memory of your special day.
Keep the kids at your wedding entertained whilst providing them with memories with a children’s wedding activity book including things such as ‘Colour in the Bride and Groom’, word games and simple puzzles. As well as the activity book why not print personalised stickers with your names on for the little boxes of crayons?
Both the kids and the parents will appreciate this one!
Photo Booth props
A photo booth is an inexpensive and fun way to get great memories for both the happy couple and the guests from the special day. To set this up hang a white background sheet on a wall or find a plain white wall in your wedding venue, and set up a camera with a dedicated camera man/woman for the day. Guests will then take it in turns to pose against the background with props you can have printed. Some great prop ideas would be:
